How To Magnetize Your Desires With Imagination

Everything is spirit. Everything! It is all energy and consciousness.

What does the Law of Attraction have to do with this? How does success come about by becoming aware of the Law of Attraction and its principles?

Using The Imagination To Control Your Thoughts

The imagination is a fascinating, powerful place. For example, remember any incident from elementary school – writing with a fat pencil, perhaps. (Remember those fat pencils?) Now, think of someplace you plan to go in the next month and imagine yourself there. Good. Now, imagine yourself on the moon, looking back at the earth – a big blue marble in the blackness of space. Excellent, isn’t it?

This is the power of the imagination: we can return to the past, rehearse the future, and zoom off on flights of fancy – all within seconds.

The images you had may not have been well-detailed, or held in the imagination for very long, but you probably had some sense of each. Some people primarily see in their imaginations, others primarily hear, others primarily feel. Whatever you do is fine.

When you do not have conscience control of the imagination, it is vigorously and creatively used against us. We relive the horrors of the past – the fears that were justified, the guilts that were especially foul, the unworthinesses at their worst, the hurt feelings at their most painful, the anger at its most destructive. Considering the false history created by the mind’s careful selection and occasional rewriting, it’s easy to feel discouraged about ourselves and everything we might consider doing.

The mind also uses the imagination when considering the future. It projects an image of not just failure but monumental failure, embarrassing failure, public and unconditional failure. Considering this opposition, it’s amazing that we even get out of bed. The mind (unless you control it) also uses every news story – and every other fictional account – of disaster to show us why we had better not do anything new, ever. It’s time to recapture the imagination from your mind’s fears. Your imagination is yours. You can remember the past you choose, rehearse the future you want, and identify with the real and fictional heroes and events of your selection.

When we remember the good things from our past (and all our pasts are filled with both good and bad), we build an image of ourselves as doers and achievers – charmed, kind and terrific. This forms a solid base for future action.

When we project our dreams into a positive future, we see that we can have what we want. A positive image of the future not only shows us how to get there, it draws us to it, attracting us toward our dreams like a magnet.

When we hear some good news, read an inspirational story or see an uplifting movie, we can use our imagination to put ourselves in the center of the action. This allows us to identify with all the good, happy and wonderful images in our culture – and know that we’re one of them.

How To Lose Weight With The Law Of Attraction

The law of attraction states that like attracts like. This means that whatever you are thinking and feeling on a deeper level, you will attract. You can think of it as your subconscious beliefs and programming. If you are finding yourself overweight and wanting to get in shape, then start to examine your deep beliefs about fitness and being overweight.

Ask yourself the following questions;

1. Is it hard to lose weight?
2. Does being in shape mean dieting, hunger or denial of something good?
3. When thinking of losing weight now, do memories of past failures come to mind?
4. When thinking of exercise, does it seem boring or a chore to do?
5. Do you want to lose weight quickly or are you interested in life style changes that will permanently keep the weight off?
6. Do I really believe I can do this with the law of attraction?

The truth is that you did not get to be where you are overnight. There were processes and patterns of thinking and feeling that brought you to the point you are at now. You have created belief systems and weight gain is just a symptom of them.

Likewise, using the law of attraction, you will also begin to change those patterns and habits. I call them mental habits. The above questions will help you determine, exactly how you feel inside about losing weight.

Many people want to lose weight quickly through pills, diet fads, and extreme exercise programs. While those things may take the weight off, it is often harder to keep it off permanently, because an important thing has not been dealt with – your mind.

By understanding and using the law of attraction you begin to condition your mind to automatically make the right decisions and actions in your every day life that lead to a slim and trim body.

Here are some simple steps in using the law of attraction to lose weight;

1. Get a picture of yourself when you were your ideal weight or get a picture of someone who is your ideal weight. You can cut out images from catalogs and magazines.

2. Get a couple of pairs of pants that are at least 3 sizes too big for you.

3. Create a short affirmation such as “I’m perfect slim and trim” or “I’m fit and slim”

Then, every day you can use the law of attraction to lose weight by taking at least 30 minutes to an hour and put on the big clothes to help you get into the feeling of being slimmer. While doing that, you look at the picture and get into the feeling of being that which you see in front of you. Then keep saying the affirmation you have created to yourself. You can say it out loud or in your mind.

This should be a fun time for you and if you ever feel that it is becoming a chore then you are not doing it right. It may be hard to get into the feeling of being fit and slim if all your life you may have felt otherwise. Practice makes perfect. Give yourself permission to feel good, to feel slim, to feel anything you want to feel during that 30 to 45 minutes each day.

Don’t expect results over night, but if you stick with your daily program, you will begin to automatically make decisions in your daily life that will help you lose weight.

Also, remember that you will have to do more than just affirmations to get fit. Eating fresh fruits and veggies, low fat foods, exercise and proper rest are also important.

By law of attraction, you will find it easier to eat healthy, exercise and feel better and better. With continued dedication and persistence you will be one of those people who have used the law of attraction to lose weight.

How To Live Stress-Free By Saying “NO”

We all know the adage, “A mother’s work is never done.” In fact, this could become a modern-day mother’s theme song since we all have overbooked schedules and everybody wants something done yesterday.

We teach our children from a young age that it is impolite to say the word, “No,” which was a lesson we learned in childhood, too. Now as adults, it is increasingly difficult to say, “No,” to anyone for fear of being rude or being seen as unreliable.

Mothers need to learn that saying, “No,” as an adult is not rude. Rather, it is a sign of someone who is in control of her life and her schedule. She knows what she is capable of accomplishing and she is aware of her other commitments.

Here are a few ways to gain back control of your life, simply by learning how to say, “No”:

1. Be selective when choosing to volunteer your time. Being involved in your child’s school IS important but that does not mean you have to serve on every committee. Instead, choose one or two activities or committees that interest you and schedule that time on your planner.

2. Set limits on after-school activities. Sports teams or dance lessons are fun and help improve social skills but that does not mean your children have to be on a different team each season or take multiple lessons a week. Instead, teach your children how to choose activities that are most important to them and keep their focus on their studies.

3. Set boundaries with your clients. Your clients should not run your life. Instead, you should have a clear, working partnership in which each partner knows what is expected.

If you can still give your clients good customer service during set office hours, then do so. Chances are they would not want you calling during their family time so why should they interrupt during your family time?

4. Be honest about your skills. If you are not qualified to complete a particular project, whether it is a paid or volunteer project, be honest with your client and recommend someone with the right qualifications. Passing the job along to someone else who is qualified will show that you are in control of your schedule, you are honest about your skill level and you value the importance of the project by giving it to someone who can complete it properly.

5. Keep your calendar or planner up to date and use it. Schedule everything on one calendar, even exercise and family time, and keep it near the phone for easy reference when someone calls asking for a favor.

Bad habits are hard to break and saying, “Yes,” to too many things can be considered a bad habit. Before committing to anything, spend some quiet time with yourself and decide what things you want to be a part of and how much time you have in your days. Sometimes we must compromise so we can successfully balance our family, work and volunteer lives.
